As you know, Jim liked ice cream. Mother took Jim and Adele, his first wife, to the Farrell's ice cream store on Fifth and Pine to celebrate their engagement. She bought them the biggest banana boat in the place. It was either 15 or 18 inches long and cost more than mother usually spent for any treats.
